How do I use the filters to get the most out the reports?
Filtering reports on MSite is extremely straight forward, this is done via the Dropdowns on each report.
These Drop downs will allow you to filter reports based on different criteria for that specific report (Contractors, Site, Area etc), if you leave all of the criteria and filters default the report will for the whole of site. (Example of some of the dropdown filters below).
Once the report has been exported you can edit the data using Microsoft Excel or any other spreadsheet software.
Is there a way to check a specific operative/contractors transactions?
The Transaction Diagnostic report will pull through all transactions (Exit or Entry) from the Selected time and date. This can also be filtered on an operative by operative or contractor by contractor basis.
If an operatives time sheets do not seem correct it should be a case of checking the transactions for the date, this should give you an idea of what has gone wrong. I.e. operatives not using the system correctly or not clocking out where required.
How does Local Labour reporting work?
The Local Labour report uses the operatives home address and also the sites base address to calculate the difference between both, this will then reflect on the Local Labour report.
Site can provide Local labour postcodes that they wish to register as Local Labour postcodes. The system will then be able to provide a breakdown as to how many employees are travelling from the specific postcodes.
Why is the Delivery Log report not pulling data through?
Past bookings will not be displaying on the system as the Status process above would have not been followed. To ensure that the Delivery Log report is accurate please follow the status flow below to ensure all completed deliveries are shown on the Delivery Log.
Approved/Scheduled --> Arrived on Site --> Completed
Operatives have completed the online induction but are not displaying on the induction booking report, is there a reason why?
Generally this happens when an induction date has been selected for an operative and they haven't completed the induction themselves. You can check the operatives progress though the online induction by using the View Progress button and entering the operatives details (Screenshot below).
What is the best format to export reports to?
Depending on how you want to View/Edit the data that you are exporting the format may matter to you.
If you are manipulating the data yourself it would be best to export to a .xls or .CSV file as these are both supported by Microsoft Excel.
However this is down to complete personnel preference depending on if you want to Manipulate the data yourself.
There is no report for the data I am trying to access, do MSite provide custom reports on a site by site basis?
If MSite doesn't have the report to find the data you are after firstly it would be best to speak to our support team. If the information is on the enrolment form then generally there should be a report to process and export that information.
If there is no report on the system then it would be best to speak to the account manager but any additional works/data requests are chargeable.
