Please ensure you have followed policy/process to validate the identity of contractor user requiring a 2FA reset.
Click on "Contractors" and then choose the Contractor for the user you are looking to reset the 2FA.
Alternatively, you can use the search function to find Contractors:
Click on the user you want to edit.
Click both the "Send password Reset Email" AND "Reset Two-factor authentication" check-boxes.
Click Save and the user will get an email to reset their password and re-initialise their 2FA credentials.
Users can reset their 2FA credentials themselves if they are able to log in to MSite, for example in the case where they are moving to a new phone/authenticator app.
Following successful login the user should click on "My Account" and then Two Factor Authentication --> Change
The user is then able to use their new device with authenticator app to scan barcode (or use key) to create a 6 digit code.
Note: Once done any previous authentication method will no longer work.
