MSite Version 7.53 - Maintenance

Version 7.53 Release Notes Summary.

The latest MSite software update introduces a range of new features, system improvements and bug fixes:

New Features

  1. Worker email addresses can now be temporarily unlocked for editing.
  2. Open worker profiles in a new tab.
New setting that when enabled, ensures clicking on a worker’s name opens in a new tab. This takes effect on the workers list page and in reports.
    Default: Disabled

Improvements

  1. Labour Hours micro-frontend .NET 9 upgrade - required to complete wider .NET 9 upgrades for continuous security improvements.
  2. Addressed a potential risk with ‘Persistent Cross-Site Scripting in the "Course Title" Parameter’, identified during pen testing.
  3. Improved formatting of the email sent to workers containing briefings contents.

Bug Fixes

  1. Fixed an issue whereby workers are asked to verify their identity every time they access their profile. This should only be necessary on the first occasion that they access an existing profile belonging to them.
  2. The way in which the Accreditation Audit report calculates the % of workers who do or do not have a certain accreditation, as a percentage of workers who ‘have been on site today’ has been fixed. Previously, it was calculating the percentage of all workers instead of the reduced number of workers who ‘have been on site today’.
  3. Fixed an issue whereby the Awarded Date was inconsistently being applied when adding an accreditation to a worker profile via API.
  4. Fixed an issue whereby the contractor dropdown was not populating with contractors correctly when the Api:Worker:AddOnlyFromAPI setting is enabled.
  5. Fixed an issue whereby level 3 sensitive custom field data was available to users with access to the Custom Field report. This is now only available in the worker statistics report.
  6. Fixed an issue whereby the contractor localisation wasn’t applied to the ‘Roll Call by Contractor’ report title.
  7. Fixed an issue whereby the edit contractor page was producing a 500 error when trying to load deleted contractor.
Instead of erroring, the user is sent back to the list page if the contractor is deleted or does not exist.
  8. Fixed an issue whereby emails were not being sent when a delivery management booking was modified. This did not affect new bookings (only modified ones).
