MSite Version 7.40.1 - Maintenance

Version 7.40 Release Notes Summary

The latest MSite software update introduces a range of new features, system improvements and bug fixes.

Below is an overview of the new features, improvements and bug fixes:

New Features

  1. When a scheduled task is ran but times out, this will be captured and displayed on the ‘Manually Run’ modal, letting the user know that a timeout occurred.
  2. Briefings marked as ‘Unpublished’ will no longer ban or restrict access for workers. This aligns with the recent changes to the behaviour of unpublished online training courses.
  3. When editing an existing Online Training course, the course name will now display on the page header. E.g. Edit Online Course – ‘Supervisor Induction’,
  4. ‘RAMS’ now added as a category type for Briefings

System Improvements

  1. When workers sit an online induction course, if they log out and log back in, they will be redirected to the next unanswered question and the ‘Back’ button will be disabled. Previously, workers would be able to click back through the previous questions and answers.
  2. When a worker completes an online course, if they have additional courses to complete then they will no longer see the image with the trophy and will instead see a new image and messaging that indicates/advises them that they should now continue to the next course.
  3. Improved the validation regex on the NI Number field on the worker profile.
  4. When viewing the Dashboard for a specific site, when the user clicks the Roll Call link, the site selection will be persisted and pre-selected on the report when the page loads.
  5. Improvements made to the save function when editing a worker profile. These improvements should now result in the save operation being executed and completed much quicker, reducing the waiting/loading times when editing and saving worker profiles.
  6. Improved performance related issues on the following reports:
    - Rolls on Site Report.
    - Custom Fields Report
    - Accreditation Audit Report
  7. Updated the image displayed on the red CITB banner that displays at the top of a worker. The banner will now bare the CSCS logo.
