Version 7.39.1 Release Notes Summary
The latest MSite software update introduces a range of new features, system improvements and bug fixes.
Below is an overview of the new features, improvements and bug fixes:
New Features
- MSite Card reading support on the F2 Face Reader.
- Support for multi-modal configurations on the F2 Face Reader. Supporting the following:

- Face or PIN (Selected by default)
- Face Only
- Card Only
- Face or Card
- Face and Card

- New Workforce Engagement page added to the Alerts & Notifications menu item.
- Users can configure images, questions and questionnaires to display on Suprema Face Readers, through the Workforce Engagement page.
- Users can schedule the Workforce Engagement, specifying the start and end time, the recurrence in weeks and the days on which they want the Face Reader to display the configured notification.
- New Questionnaire Responses report added. This report captures worker responses to both Workforce Engagement questions and questionnaires.
- Expired accreditations from unpublished courses are now not flagged as a red status:

- No longer display in a red expired state on the worker profile (RAG status included)
- No longer display in a red expired state on the Accreditation Audit Report
- Be excluded from the Accreditation Expiry Email
- No longer affect access if ‘Required for Access’ is checked

- NextOfKinAddress:Mandatory setting added. When enabled, this mandates the address field on the Next of Kin modal.
- ‘View History’ button added to the Site Association panel, allowing users to view the Site Association History of a worker.
- When inviting a new worker to site, de-duplication checks are now carried out against the worker email, independently of the First Name and Surname.
- CITB Validation Report now renamed to ‘CITB/CSCS Validation’ Report.
- Mandatory asterisk added to Next of Kin panel and fields when Next of Kin details are required.
System Improvements
- Performance tuning carried out against the Access & Attendance reports to improve the time it takes to run and generate the reports.
- Improved validation on contact number field on the enrolment form allowing us to validate and flag numbers UK phone numbers that are less than 10 or more than 11 digits long.
- Updated messaging on the Online Training pages during Pre-Registration, making it clearer to workers that they have additional training to complete.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed an issue whereby, CSCS card images were not updating on the worker profile when a card gets added.
- Fixed an issue whereby, Access & Attendance reports were missing data due to the reports micro-database missing transaction details for shift and FILO. Causing reports to show workers as having open shifts.
- Fixed an issue whereby, the auto clock out schedule task was timing out and not clocking some workers out.
- Fixed an issue whereby, the Accreditation Expiry filter on the Accreditations on Site report was not correctly filtering the results.
- Fixed an issue whereby, users without cross site search were able to provision other users with cross site search.
- Fixed an issue whereby, PIN entry was not working for any workers on the instance.
- Fixed an issue whereby, radio buttons that are non-mandatory and are left unfilled in a fillable PDF on Briefings, are having the first radio button option selected automatically when the Briefing is submitted and viewed in the Attendance Sheets.
- Fixed an issue whereby, CSCS/MSite card scanning functionality on the Supervisor App was not working correctly due to the app sync missing two settings.
- Fixed an issue whereby, Contractor user was able to select and view all sites when running reports, despite the Reports feature only being enabled for a single site.
- Fixed an issue whereby, Supervisor App users were getting stuck in the quick start guide loop and having to completely quit the app to resolve the issue.
