Firstly, you must remove the old card printer ribbon and cleaning roller which all click out of place and slide out easily.
After which, you should have a black ribbon tray with no rollers attached.
Once all packing is removed from the new ribbon (plastic must also be removed from cleaning roller) you are ready to install this in the empty black tray.
As shown in the image above, place the tray so that the cleaning roller 'hooks' are facing upwards. Slide the new rollers into the holes as shown and click the other end of the rollers into position.
Ensure the ribbon is running along the top of the open tray so it is facing you. The cogs should be on the side with the click in holes. If this is not the case, simply remove the ribbon and flip it around so it faces the correct position.
Place the tray upside down and insert the new cleaning roller into the hooks at the end of the tray (ensure the plastic seal is removed).
Once finished, simply place the ribbon back into the card printer. This should simply fall into place and does not require any force, if force is required repeat the steps above and ensure there is no obstructions within the card printer.
Close the lid on the card printer and perform a test print by going to Devices and Printers - right click IDP Smart 30 Card Printer - click Printer Properties - in general tab click 'Print Test Card' to ensure the ribbon is installed correctly.
